Abstract

A technique and the results of experimental investigations of a system of precision automatic comparators and thermally stabilized standard-carriers are described. The investigation technique enables measurement errors of the system down to 10–7 and less to be recognized. It is based on a separate determination of the components of the total error: additive, multiplicative and due to integral nonlinearity, and also on a separate calculation of the random and deterministic components.
