This is a collection of Andrew Gamble’s published essays, mostly written before Brexit, ten between 1979 and 2015, and two in 2019, with a reflective “Epilogue” written during the pandemic lockdown in 2020. It is a companion to another collection, The Western Ideology and Other Essays (Bristol University Press, 2021).
