Application of visual tracking based on infrared target imaging in aerobics action evaluation system

Abstract

Because of the complexity and difficulty of aerobic exercise, the physical quality and technical level of athletes have higher requirements. Therefore, how to accurately evaluate and analyze the situation of aerobic athletes has become an important task in training and competition. The aim of this study is to develop a vision tracking system based on infrared target imaging for the evaluation of aerobics movements. In the system, the infrared camera is used to capture the movement of aerobics athletes, and the infrared image is processed and analyzed by computer vision algorithm to extract the key body nodes to track and measure the athlete's posture. Through the experimental verification of a group of aerobics movements, the system can effectively track the athletes' body posture and accurately evaluate the quality of their movements. Through quantitative indicators and visual results, we can get the evaluation results of whether the athlete's posture and movement are accurate and in line with the norms. Compared with traditional motion evaluation methods, the proposed method has higher accuracy and real-time performance.
