Abstract

In many ways, the world of work 12 years into the 21st century has not changed much from that 12 years before the end of the 20th, especially in Germany. There are some new tools to work with – in 1988 the internet was still just a scientific instrument – and there are new competitors in the market place, but the old rules still generally apply.
