Porsche has replaced the 3.6-litre V6 petrol engine in its Cayenne GTS models with an eight-cylinder biturbo engine. The 4.0-litre V8 engine improves the driving performance of the Cayenne GTS and the Cayenne GTS Coupé.

The new Porsche Cayenne GTS models are recognisable for their Sport Design package, their black 21-inch alloy wheels and dark-tinted components such as the sporty exhaust. The interior of the GTS features Alcantara on the roof lining, the centre panels of the seats, the armrests on the centre console and doors, as well as dark-brushed aluminium and sporty seats.

The Porsche Cayenne GTS now provides 14 kW (20 HP) and 20 N m more than its V6 predecessor. The 4.0-litre eight-cylinder petrol engine with two turbochargers has an output of 338 kW (460 HP) and provides a maximum of 620 N m of torque. The car is fitted with the Tiptronic S eight-speed automatic gearbox. The GTS models with the Sport Chrono package can reach 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds; the top speed is 270 km/h.

The chassis has been lowered by 20 mm and includes the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) damper control. Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) is also fitted as standard. The optional Lightweight Sports package includes a sporty exhaust system with two centrally positioned, oval tailpipes. Ceramic brakes, air suspension and roll stabilisation are also available at additional cost.
