The role of vehicle manufacturers and suppliers is growing more difficult every year. Customer expectations regarding both product functionality and product quality continue to grow. The additional features that customers expect lead to an exponential increase in embedded software complexity and code volume throughout the vehicle, which makes the challenge of ensuring software quality significantly more difficult and potentially very expensive.
