In Praise of Desire is written as a sort of conversation about the role of desires in moral psychology. In it, we show that a desire-based moral psychology does not imply an impoverished view of the lives of virtuous agents. We do not give a full defense of the role we think desires play, but we take a few steps in that direction. …
