Zusammenfassung

In diesem Kapitel wird die Datengrundlage der Arbeit vorgestellt. Es existieren einige wenige große Datenbanken, die Informationen über natürliche Ressourcensysteme sammeln. Sie haben gegenüber einer Metaanalyse von Einzelstudien den Vorteil, dass alle Fälle einer einheitlichen Systematik unterliegen. Die vorliegende Arbeit stützt sich auf 3 solcher Datensätze zu sozial-ökologischen Systemen, die imOstrom Workshop in Bloomington entstanden sind. Diese Daten werden auf Korrektheit geprüft und in einem aufwändigen Prozess umkodiert und maschinenlesbar gemacht. Die vorhandenen Variablen werden auf 24 Erfolgsfaktoren aufgeteilt.
