Abstract
In this chapter we are going to look at the problem of classification from the perspective of application of machine learning theory. We will take an example of email spam detection as an application of classification and go through the steps in building an end to end machine learning pipeline to solve the problem. This process will illustrate a general application of classification as well as introduce the reader with various practical aspects of solving a real life problem using machine learning theory.
