This paper describes a cloud-based 3D data processing, data modelling, and technological system (hereinafter referred to as “KKC 3D cloud”) and applications of the resulting 3D data, including disaster relief response and construction progress monitoring using unmanned airborne vehicle (hereinafter referred to as “UAV”) with auxiliary camera sensor for stereo image acquisition as source data for 3D data processing. KKC 3D cloud is a 3D data processing service using structure from motion (hereinafter referred to as “SfM”) that produces intuitive and precise three-dimensional geospatial data sets such as 3D point clouds, 3D meshes, and georeferenced orthophoto imagery in a fully automated manner.
