Abstract

Education is key in today’s generation. It helps the mind to think critically and shape it to produce innovations every day. Academics and Universities of technology are currently exploring new technologies to advance the methods used in teaching and learning. One of the technologies that has recently emerged is Cloud Computing. Cloud Computing is a disseminated computing that allow software and hardware as a service via the internet instead of you having a hardware or software sitting on your desktop or somewhere inside your company’s network. Cloud Computing is a type of computing that depends on distributing computing resources instead of having a local servers or personal devices to handle applications. Cloud Computing, as a new paradigm, can offer institutions quality education by providing the latest infrastructure in terms of hardware and software. This paper focuses on the introduction of Cloud Computing at Central University of Technology to improve teaching and learning methods.
