Abstract

The background information about the economy including the tourism industry is important for many aspects of tourism CGE modelling. Using Singaporean tourism as an example, this chapter demonstrates the kind of background information needed to be collected. The background information collected in this chapter will be used in model design, database construction, simulation implementation, and simulation results analysis.
