Collective behavior simulation based on agent with artificial emotion

Abstract

At present, most studies about the formation of human self-organization groups are mostly based on rational behavior, and do not well take into account the influence of emotional factors on individuals. As an important and unique ability of human beings, emotion plays an important role in the process of cognition. The addition of the emotional factors in the process of cognitive behavior modeling can significantly improve the authenticity and adaptability of cognitive behavioral models. In this paper, a multi-layer modeling method based on personality, emotion, mood and behavior is proposed to simulate behaviors of self-organized collective behaviors under the condition of non-rational state from the point of view of the interaction between emotion and mood and behavior; and the simulation results are discussed and analyzed from the aspects of the emotion with social demand and group cohesion. A good reflection of the influence of emotion on individual behaviors and group aggregation is carried out by the simulation results obtained by the model constructed in this paper. The model construction method proposed in this paper not only help to construct more authentic cognitive behavior models, but also help to simulate the irrational behavior and fully self-organized collective behaviors of human populations.
