Audi has revised its A3 compact model. In addition to extended standard equipment, the new A3 Allstreet body variant is also being launched on the market.

The facelift of the Audi A3 can be recognized by the new, frameless single-frame radiator grille, which is now wider and flatter. A new front spoiler sits beneath it. The rear section has also been redesigned with a new bumper and diffuser. With the LED headlights, up to four different digital daytime running light signatures can now be selected in the MMI.

In the interior, the design of the gearshift, the air vents and the textile inlays have been revised. The center console has been redesigned and repainted, and the armrest can be adjusted lengthwise and in inclination. The interior lighting has also been redesigned. The Virtual Cockpit, the 10.1" touchscreen, DAB+ digital radio and an inductive charging option for smartphones are now standard. There are now also USB-C charging ports at the front and rear. The optional MMI Navigation Plus offers Amazon Alexa, among other things, and various "Functions on Demand" are also offered retrospectively.

Audi A3 Allstreet with Increased Ground Clearance

The Ingolstadt-based company has also presented a new model variant with an SUV look, appropriately called the A3 Allstreet. The crossover is based on the Sportback and, in addition to the higher single frame, offers a 30 mm higher ground clearance, rustic plastic elements on the sills and wheel arch moldings, for example, as well as a hint of underride protection. The A3 Allstreet rolls on 17" alloy wheels as standard.

The A3 will initially be launched on the market with two engine/gearbox variants. The 35 TFSI is a mild hybrid with a 1.5-liter petrol engine. It delivers 110 kW (150 PS) and is equipped with the seven-speed S-Tronic. There is also a diesel engine to choose from, the 35 TDI, which also has an output of 110 kW (150 PS) and a seven-speed automatic transmission. Further variants with petrol and diesel engines are to follow in the second quarter for the A3 Sportback and the A3 Sedan. A plug-in hybrid model will also be available at the end of the year.

Audi A3 Facelift Available to Order from March

In the area of driver assistance systems, the A3 can be equipped with lane change warning, exit warning and rear cross-traffic assist or adaptive cruise assist in addition to forward collision warning and swerve and turn assist. The A3 is manufactured at the Ingolstadt plant. The new models will be available to order from March, with the 35 TFSI Sportback starting at 35,650 euros. The saloon costs 800 euros more. The A3 Allstreet starts at 37,450 euros for the 35 TFSI.
