In this work, the design and development of a computational model of the human cardiovascular system is proposed. The model allows the analysis by simulation of the behavior of some hemodynamic variables not easy to be measured in the clinical practice, in different physio-phatological cardiac situations. The model has been validated comparing the results obtained with hemodynamic values published by other authors. As a result of this work, different simulations of some cardiac pathologies are shown, together with the dynamic behaviors of the different variables considered in the model.
