Abstract

This chapter provides a summary of the findings and analyses of this book. In particular, it re-emphasizes the importance of taking a multifactorial approach that incorporates history, space, policy, and politics in explaining and understanding Singapore’s success as an IFC. Such an approach can then be applied to the study and analysis of other IFCs as well. Implications and lessons for policymakers are therefore discussed, along with potential areas of future research.
