Abstract

The paper explains discusses criminal policing by applying Rossmo’s equation and local crime sentiment approach is proposed where nine types of crimes are discussed which is put into four categories. Each category weight is calculated from the criminal database based on his/her crimes. Rapid miner tool is used to generate graph using results generated through Rossmo’s equation and local crime sentiment approach. The resultant graph is then analyzed to predict the most probable criminal. Gurgaon proclaimed offender case is used for case study. The experimental proves that the approach presented in the paper will give accurate results.
