Abstract

Data inputs are described in these sections; first the global gravity field model EIGEN 6C4 (and the role of the gradiometry data from GOCE in it), then the bed topography under the ice cover in the Bedmap 2 model, and then their combination in the spherical harmonic expansion SatGravRET14 (the actually used model to compute the gravity aspects in this Atlas). We note about the polar gap in the data, data resolution, and about other data sources. Finally we provide a practical guide to the figures in this Atlas.
