During the Olympic Winter Games 2018 in Pyeongchang the electric car Hyundai Nexo was used. Due to its fuel cell drive it is very quiet, only road noise comes to the driver’s ear. To turn this off as well, Hyundai developed a broadband active noise control system that is mass-producible and with which a virtual quiet zone around the four headrests is created via counter-phase noise. …
