Abstract

Human resources are one of the most important elements of an organization. Previous studies focused on analyzing the character of members based on sociological ideas e.g. questionnaires and interviews to diagnose an organization. However, answering detailed reports is a time-consuming process, has potential for concealment, and struggles to display organizational level problems. We propose a multi-facet diagnosis model based on both sociological questionnaires and social network analysis to reveal relationships among organization members. We present a light-weighted questionnaire guided by psychological studies and propose SNA-based algorithms to detect specific members, such as those at-risk and leaders, which are meaningful when diagnosing an organization. Experimental results show that the proposed method covers the core of psychological diagnosis results and can observe specific members.

Reports of criminal acts such as ‘A Murder Committed by One Who Seemed so Kind’, ‘A Bullied Student’, or ‘Sexual Harassment in the Office’ show the difficulty in identifying suspects through the analysis of superficial facts and self-diagnosis.
