Abstract

This chapter provides a summary of the key findings from quantitative and the qualitative components of this research project, exploring how well-being and resilience influence innovation in knowledge-intensive service industries. It also analyses and highlights the themes emanating from a cross-case analysis of in-depth qualitative interviews in order to explain the reasons for the phenomenon to occur in the way it does. Chapter 6 proposes a conceptual model from this study that may be useful to inform and guide future research on the topic as many relationships are yet to be tested using an ex-post facto design. Finally, this chapter concludes with implications for theory and practice.
