Abstract

Local colleges are the main bodies of Chinese higher education. Their proper and sound development will do well to the development of local economy and society. Compared with famous and key universities, their development is in inferior state and there are lot of problems. This chapter analyses the problems during their development process, then it puts forward relevant strategies so as to provide reference for the development of local colleges.
