Zusammenfassung

Ziel dieses Beitrages ist es, „Autonomie“ als eine Vorbedingung für Entrepreneurship zu setzen. Unter dem Begriff Autonomie wird verstanden, wie frei Organisationen ihre strategischen, taktischen und operationalen Möglichkeiten wählen, entwickeln und verfolgen können, ohne dabei von internen (interne Autonomie) oder externen (externe Autonomie) Einschränkungen betroffen zu sein. Interne Einschränkungen hängen mit internen Strukturen und mit der Verfügbarkeit von Ressourcen zusammen. Externe Einschränkungen hingegen werden hauptsächlich durch Umwelteinflüsse bestimmt, also beispielsweise externe Stakeholder oder Gesetze.
Ausgehend von einem Klassifikationsschema zeigt sich, dass sich Entrepreneurship im Krankenhaussektor in Deutschland schwierig gestaltet, da sowohl eine geringe interne, als auch eine geringe externe Autonomie vorliegt.
