In the chapter general information on DC networks is given. Spatial distribution of insulation between the network poles as well as between each pole and ground is pointed out. Transformation of spatially distributed physical systems into topology of discrete elements is described. Equivalent circuit diagrams of batteries in steady-state condition are presented. Formulas for parameters of the equivalent circuits are derived for the most general condition of insulation leakage conductance distributed nonuniformly (at random) within the battery’s single cells. DC system representation in form of ∏ or T two-port network is proposed. Equivalent circuit diagram of a DC network with an AC voltage source is given.
