Zusammenfassung

Ziel dieser Studie ist es, die Taxonomie der Funktionalitäten von Supply Chain Management Informationssystemen (SCM IS) zu erweitern, um deren Bewertung und Auswahl im heutigen volatilen und disruptiven Geschäftsumfeld zu unterstützen. Aufbauend auf früheren Arbeiten identifiziert diese Studie neue Funktionalitäten, die das SCM verbessern. Die Autoren führen eine Literaturrecherche sowie eine Inhaltsanalyse von über 89 Spezifikationsdokumenten von SCM IS Anbietern durch. Mithilfe der Analyse werden 12 Funktionalitäten identifiziert, die sich auf Analyse und Prognose, Planung und Design, Logistik, Lagerhaltung und Informationsmanagement konzentrieren. Die erweiterte Taxonomie von Funktionalitäten soll Praktiker und Wissenschaftler bei der Auswahl von SCM IS unterstützen. Die Ergebnisse sollen helfen, funktionale Anforderungen des SCM an SCM IS zu formulieren.
