Zusammenfassung

Der Beitrag untersucht die ethischen Implikationen des Einsatzes von künstlicher Intelligenz (KI) im industriellen Kontext vor dem Hintergrund eines sich ständig wandelnden Industrieumfelds. Methodisch beruht der Beitrag auf einer qualitativen Dokumentenanalyse. Es wurden 56 Zeitungsartikel zwischen 1960 und 2023 zum Thema analysiert und mithilfe eines induktiv gebildeten Kategoriensystems codiert. Dadurch konnten gesellschaftliche Haltungen, Erwartungen, Hoffnungen und Ängste im Zusammenhang mit KI bestimmt werden.
Die Ergebnisse zeigen die wichtigsten Anwendungsbereiche von KI im industriellen Kontext auf und identifizieren auf Grundlage der narrativen Ethik spezifische ethische Problemstellungen. Als zentrale Problem- und Fragestellungen kristallisieren sich die Bedeutung und Möglichkeit einer Substitution menschlicher Arbeit durch KI, Fragen der moralischen Verantwortung, Regulierungsansätze und damit verbundene Problemstellungen sowie die Notwendigkeit der digitalen Kompetenzen in verschiedenen Ausprägungen heraus.
