Zusammenfassung

The article describes forms of digital human models utilization. It dedicates to two of the most used software tools (Delmia and Tecnomatix) with its digital human models (Human Builder and Jack). Strengths and weaknesses of these softwaresystems are mentioned. Further the article describes functionalities of digital human models and possible ergonomic analyses which can be performed with them. The author also focus on the process of workplace analysis which is divided into four universal phases. Time demands for these phases and the whole process is given according to the experimental results. At the end some examples of digital human models utilization in product and process ergonomics are given.
