Zusammenfassung

Finanzpsychologie beschäftigt sich mit dem Erleben und Verhalten von Menschen im Umgang mit Geld oder liquiditätsnah investierten bzw. aufgenommenen Mitteln. Diese noch recht junge Disziplin der Psychologie lässt sich in einen eher grundlagenorientierten und einen eher anwendungsorientierten Forschungsbereich unterteilen. Bei Ersterem werden die Wahrnehmung von Geld und Preisen sowie das Urteilen und Entscheiden über Geldmittel im Allgemeinen untersucht, bei Letzterem fokussiert man hingegen konkrete Anwendungskontexte für finanzbezogenes Urteilen und Entscheiden. Dieser Unterteilung folgend werden in dem Kapitel mit den Grundlagen der Finanzpsychologie sowie mit dem Anleger-, Spar- und Verschuldungsverhalten zwei der wichtigsten Anwendungsgebiete dargestellt. Jeder Themenbereich ist mit verschiedenen Beispielen und weiterführenden Literaturhinweisen versehen, um allen Lesenden einen einfachen Zugang zu diesem spannenden Gebiet der Psychologie zu ermöglichen.
