Zusammenfassung

Windkraftanlagen erzeugen beim Betrieb Lärm (Wagner et al. in Wind turbine noise. Springer Science und Business Media, S. 204, 1996; Tian et al. in Wind turbine noise modelling based on Amiet’s theory. Denver, CO, United States, 2013), die lästig sein und zu gesundheitlichen Beeinträchtigungen führen können (Harrison in Wind turbine noise. Bulletin of Science, Technology und Society, S. 256–261, 2011). Lärm mit einer Frequenz unterhalb der üblichen menschlichen Wahrnehmungsgrenze von 20 Hz wird als Infraschall bezeichnet. In diesem Kapitel geht es nicht um Lärmerzeugung und Gesundheitsfragen, sondern hauptsächlich um die meteorologischen Aspekte der Lärmausbreitung, die stark von den meteorologischen Bedingungen abhängt.
