Implementation of Takt Time in the Development of a New Value Stream Mapping in the Production of Coffee Powder

This work consists of the analysis of the coffee powder production system using the Value Flow Mapping (MFV) tool in a small factory, located in the interior of Vale do Paraíba, in the state of São Paulo, which is undergoing a moment of transition. The practice of the MFV tool was identified in the Toyota Production System, in which the production of value maps was seen as routine. As a general objective, we seek to survey the Takt Time tool and point out its relevance in production planning. For this, the MFV will be elaborated and proposed to identify possible flaws or waste in the search for improvements in the production line. As a specific objective, it focuses on evaluating and investigating supply chain management and, therefore, proposing a map of the production process using the Takt Time tool. To achieve the presented objective, an exploratory quantitative review of the literature was initially carried out with the applicability of the current and proposed Value Flow Mapping tool. The adopted methodology is classified as exploratory quantitative with applicability of the MFV tool. To carry out the study, the methods adopted were the delimitation of the theme, on-site visits, data collection and the delimitation of the problem. As an expected result, the goal is to be able to contribute significantly to the improvement of the company's production process and future new studies using the tools discussed.
