Abstract

The largest joint interest between China and the European Union (EU) is in the economic and trade area (China Daily, 2014). From 2008 to 2018, the highest growth rate was recorded for exports to China which almost tripled (ec.europa.eu. 2019). In 2018, China was the largest partner for EU imports of goods and the 2nd largest partner for EU exports of goods (ec.europa.eu. 2019).
