Abstract

The Convention is viewed very positively in Hong Kong. The unique position of Hong Kong has created several tracks for the enforcement of international arbitral awards there, which may generate some confusion. The courts of Hong Kong show a pro-enforcement bias in support of the Convention and they have done a well-regarded job in applying it.
