Zusammenfassung

Job Crafting bezeichnet die proaktive Veränderung des eigenen Arbeitsplatzes durch die Mitarbeiter eines Unternehmens. Dieses aktive Jobdesign wurde lange Zeit von Unternehmen und Führung ignoriert oder gar behindert, da es bottom up und nicht top down passiert. Seit einiger Zeit jedoch befindet sich Job Crafting auf dem besten Weg, zu einer modernen Führungstechnik zu avancieren. Dieser Beitrag beschreibt die Ursprünge des Job Crafting Konzepts von Anfang 2000 bis hin zum heutigen Stand der Forschung. Begleitet von Fallbeispielen, werden die konkreten Techniken und die drei Phasen des Job Crafting sowie die Einbindung des Konzepts in den Führungsalltag dargestellt.
