Citroën delivers a new interpretation of the 2CV van with the special model "2CV Berlingo Fourgonnette". The modern "box duck" was created in cooperation with the Italian coachbuilder Caselani.

The corrugated-iron Citroën 2CV Fourgonnette AU van was available from 1951 to 1987. The reinterpretation based on the Berlingo is the product of a collaboration between Citroën’s design team and coachbuilder Caselani. "As a distant descendant, the Berlingo was designed entirely as an homage to the Citroën 2CV of the 1950s", says Caselani designer David Obendorfer. This includes design themes such as round headlights, the V-shaped curved hood with the upright radiator grille complete with double angle, and the fluted fiberglass components of the bodywork reminiscent of corrugated sheet metal.

The basis and technology of the retro panel van come from the current Berlingo. The panel van can carry a payload of up to one ton and offers an effective volume of 4.4 m³. The vehicle’s useful length can be extended to up to 3.09 m (length M) by moving the front passenger seat. The 2CV Berlingo Fourgonnette is available with a 1.5-l BlueHDi diesel engine, with a 1.2-l PureTech gasoline engine, and as a battery-electric van with a range of up to 275 km. Up to 18 driver assistance systems are available in the modern, networked cockpit. The van will be launched in a small series in 2023.
