Zusammenfassung

Networking umfasst Verhaltensweisen, die dem Aufbau, der Pflege und der Nutzung informeller beruflicher Beziehungen dienen, mit dem Ziel, dadurch berufliche Ressourcen zu erlangen. Es stellt eine bedeutende Komponente des Karriereselbstmanagements dar und wird meist durch Fragebögen erfasst. Es wird von individuellen und strukturellen Faktoren determiniert und spielt eine wichtige Rolle für den objektiven und subjektiven Karriereerfolg. Zudem existieren verschiedene Trainingsansätze und organisationale Praktiken zur Förderung von Networking-Verhalten.
