Abstract

Based on the perspective of system theory, a composite system evaluation model is established, reveals the process of urbanization quality evolution in Western China from 2000 to 2017. Research shows: (1) The quality of urbanization in Western China is low, but it is gradually improving. (2) There is a big difference between regions. (3) From the perspective of moderate development, coordinated development and inclusive development, uncoordinated and non-inclusive are the main constraints of high-quality urbanization development.
