Abstract

The article delves into the optimization of shot peening parameters for blades, focusing on the constraint of equivalent residual stress-induced deformation. It introduces the concept of equivalent residual stress (ERS) to describe the residual stress caused by shot peening and outlines the relations between shot peening parameters and ERS. The study emphasizes the use of advanced simulation methods, such as finite element analysis, to predict and control deformation. The authors present a detailed analysis of the effects of shot peening parameters on ERS and blade deformation, culminating in the optimization of these parameters to meet specific deformation requirements.
