Zusammenfassung

Seit der Einführung des Begriffs „organisationales Lernen“ (OL) in die wissenschaftliche Diskussion durch Cangelosi und Dill (1965) sind inzwischen fast fünf Jahrzehnte vergangen, in denen eine Vielzahl von unterschiedlichen Konzepten und Studien vorgestellt wurden (für einen Überblick: z. B. Argote 2011; Bapuji und Crossan 2004; Easterby-Smith 1997; Edmondson und Moingeon 1996; Kluge und Schilling 2003; Kluge und Schilling 2007; Örtenblad 2002; Rebelo und Gomes 2008; Schilling und Kluge 2004; Shipton 2006), die die Vielfalt der Betrachtungsweisen auf organisationales Lernen verdeutlichen. Aus einem Modethema insbesondere der neunziger Jahre des letzten Jahrhunderts ist inzwischen ein zentrales Thema der Organisationsforschung geworden (Rebelo und Gomes 2008; Shipton 2006). Dieses Kapitel gibt daher einen Überblick über Begriff und Konzepte des organisationalen Lernens, die bisherige Forschung zu fördernden und hindernden Faktoren organisationalen Lernens und einen Ausblick auf die aktuelle Entwicklung des Themengebiets.
