Chaos engineering is the testing of a system by simulating chaos. Netflix’s Simian Army project is a perfect example of chaos engineering. Simian army has a set of tools that subject systems to random failures, such as loss of node, loss of network connection, introduction of artificial delays in communication, loss of a cluster of servers, etc.,

Fuzz testing or fuzzing is a blackbox testing technique, where a system is fed random inputs and checked for failures.

Exploratory testing is out-of-the-box testing technique, which relies on the tester’s skills to devise test cases that will find scenarios leading to failures.
