Abstract
Buzzwords like artificial intelligence, big data analytics, predictive operations support and cyber threat intelligence emerged over the last years, being appraised as game changers. Several evangelists and vendors are still claiming to “solve” the Cyber Security challenge by those. This article compiles some thoughts about influential factors, critical success factors as well as lessons learned from other domains and conceptual limits of feasibility when taking the endeavor to implement and leverage the next level of Cyber Security operational capabilities. The article seizes some thought leadership and concepts promoted by the Atos Scientific Community embracing the insights and experience of the author towards making new methods and technologies actionable – comprehensibly and result driven.
