The 23rd annual conference on financial economics and accounting was held at University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business and Leventhal School of Accounting on November 16–17, 2012 in Popovich Hall, Los Angeles. There were 54papers accepted on the program after a rigorous process that resulted in a 17 % acceptance rate. The result was both exciting and outstanding. This conference has become one of the most prestigious academic conferences in finance and accounting nationally and internationally. See the attached program for the details of the two-day event. …
