Abstract

This chapter describes the numerical study employed by using ANSYS Fluent (Fluid Dynamics Analysis) developed in this thesis. The numerical study consists of the development of the 3D model for the simulation of surface water drainage. The 3D model includes geometry development, mesh design, material properties, conditions, model validation and analysis. The objective of the model is to simulate how the surface texture and geometry of pavement made of ECC will affect water surface runoff.
