Abstract

The article looks at the use of different technological approaches to design of multimedia information systems with cultural and historical content. The feasibility of using multimedia technologies is illustrated by particular projects of cultural heritage preservation—“Multimedia information system Architecture and Murals of the Novgorod Church of Transfiguration of Our Savior on Nereditsa”, “Multimedia information system Architectural Ensemble of the Solovetsky Monastery in the Period of Its Highest Prosperity (XVI–XVIIth Centuries)”, etc.
