From January 2019, Continental's Powertrain division started to work independently from Continental; it began operating under its new name Vitesco Technologies back in October 2019. The company's CEO Andreas Wolf explains what has changed as a result and where development focus lies.
Andreas Wolf has been Head of Continental's Powertrain division since October 2018. Following its realignment, he has assumed the role of CEO of Vitesco Technologies since October 2019. The business graduate with many years of experience in the automotive electronics industry began his career in 1989 at Siemens in Regensburg (Germany), where, following a spell in Toulouse (France), he assumed the logistical and commercial management of the electronics plant in 1996. This was followed by positions as CFO of the Diesel Systems and Interior & Infotainment business units. Following the acquisition of Siemens VDO by Continental, Wolf headed the Body & Security business unit from 2007 to 2018.
