Yutaka Ohno joined the Ministry of Transport in 1946. After serving as a senior researcher at RTRI, he became the head of the computer systems laboratory of RTRI, and later became a professor at Kyoto University, and the chairman of the Information Processing Society of Japan.

Ichiro Yamamoto joined RTRI in 1952. After served a senior researcher, he became head of the computer center of RTRI and later became a professor at Toyo University.
