Zusammenfassung
This article provides information about the development status of Urban Air Mobility and its challenges. At the beginning an overview is given to running projects regarding the development of VTOLs and a comparison to different aircraft variants. The main challenges are described which have to be met on the way to successfully establish Urban Air Mobility to a wide audience. Subsequently the status of the licensing through the responsible authorities is given. Concluding all information is summarized and an outlook is given.
