Zusammenfassung

Der Homo Oeconomicus ist die zentrale Annahme der klassischen Ökonomie: Er ist rational, maximiert seinen Eigennutz, ist frei von Emotionen und macht keine Fehler in der Informationsaufnahme und –verarbeitung. Mit anderen Worten er ist ungefähr so realistisch wie der legendäre Mr. Spock aus der Fernsehserie „Raumschiff Enterprise“. Die Ideen der behavioral Economics sollen helfen, dieses Menschenbild realistischer zu machen - aber nicht, es zu ersetzen.
