A High-Speed Microwave Radiometer with High Absolute Measurement Accuracy

Abstract

A microwave radiometer based on a modification of the null-measurement method with high dynamic characteristics is described. The use of a single noise generator to generate two reference values reduces the measurement error arising from the change in the generator output power and simplifies the calibration process when adjusting the radiometer to a specified measurement range.
