A New Approach to Estimate the Viscosity of the Ternary Liquid Alloys Using the Budai–Benkő–Kaptay Equation

Abstract

The new Budai–Benkő–Kaptay (BBK) equation has been recently derived for estimation of the viscosity of liquid alloys. The application of that equation to ternary metallic alloys has been tested in this article in the example of viscosities of ternary liquid Ag-Au-Cu alloys, and compared with literature experimental data.
