This paper presents an application of MOPGP to wildlife management. The case study is the development of a game management operational plan for deer in Southern Spain. As there are two species, ecologic and economic conflicts are in conflict. The solution procedures start with a Multiobjective analysis of the efficient set, and is complemented by using Lexicographical Goal Programming to obtain a “satisfactory” operational plan. This research proves that management models can be improved by using multicriteria approaches, especially when a satisfactory combination of methods is employed.
